Nobody watching Top Chef all stars?

^ I watch Top Chef when I'm home. It's been a good season. My faves are Carla, Fabio (of course), and Richard. For some reason I've always hated Angelo. Something about him just annoys me.

The challenges have been fun this season... loved it when they went to the dim sum place and also fishing.

Anyway. I like all the contestants...I really don't care who wins anymore.

Yeah, it's shocking how much better the challenges (even the quickfires) have been on All-Stars compared to the previous season. I was afraid the series would turn to shit quickly after the poor 7th season. Glad to see it recovered quickly instead.

This generation might be interesting.
I adore Franky's androgynous styling... she looks so much better than her girly self. I think her character is going to be so interesting. We've got 2 metalheads in Rich and Alo, prim and proper ballerina Grace who's currently being paired up with Rich. Mini and Liv, the popular girls. Wonder what sort of shit they're gonna get up to this series...

Is it worth watching then? I gave up on the second generation, really didn't like them or the stories. Much prefer The Inbetweeners, which is more straight up comedy but also more relatable and realistic.

omgoodness, through the past 2 months or so, I netflixed the whole first generation of Skins. I love love love them all. <3 Cassie, especially. Then I started the second generation and it was just no funn. Effy is best as the mute sister rather than the main character. (though I read through what happens at the end of the 4th season, and it's craaazy. kinda intriguing.)

I'm kinda interested in the new one though? I like androgyny. And while I never saw the Golden Compass movie (blasphemy), it's lolz that the person who played Lyra is all on Skins now.

How far were you into the 2nd gen before you gave up? I prefer the 2nd gen as a whole more than the 1st gen, cuz they seemed more fun, and less nasty. The 2nd gen is worth watching for the story of the twins alone... and the 2nd generation gang seem a lot more fun, less nasty. Problem with Skins is fans get attached to one generation and refuse to watch those after...

Skins Sexxbomb

I'm quite interested as to where the Skins 5 writers will take the character of Franky. They've done gays with Maxxie, lesbians with Emily and Naomi, and now we have Franky who's androgynous. Are they gonna make her asexual or bisexual? And then there's metalhead music snob Rich... I think he's gonna be a hoot.

If musical stylings are an indication of how good the series can be... then I say this series is well worth watching when you have scenes set to tracks like this.

Aeroplane - We Can't Fly

Just moved on to the 2nd generation. Loved the first, but that story is over and I'm glad Skins go on with fresh blood.

I don't approve of the fart jokes though =P
