Ringo's guest vocals are only on the A-side, right, not on the B-sides?

^ That's right.

I just checked this guy on youtube and his stuff is pretty good

This single is what got me to try out his other stuff, but I should have started long before this single (the debut of his solo career) came out.

If you think his solo career is really something, just wait until you try one of the many bands he wrote 98% of the music for. Blankey Jet City, SHERBETS, JUDE, AJICO - these are all his bands, and there's more compositions between them all than what any one listener knows what to do with. Between his solo career and all his bands, Asai Kenichi already has somewhere around 35 albums, and in the time it takes you to get comfortably familiar with a small handful of them - he has already released another one. You could start exploring his material today and not even be fully up-to-speed in a year from now.

Thanks, that's great to know!
I had checked out one or two Blankey Jet City link on youtube and loved it. I saw that Asai Kenichi was in someone's "Sherbet" folder on DC++ so I went and starting getting them to sample them.

UPDATE: I have now listened to about 5 albums of his multiple times, from different periods and through different bands (Sherbets, solo, Blankey) and he is AMAZING! His songs are consistently good and original. When not original, they are still really good. I am so glad I read this post; at this rate he will definitely make it to my top 3 artists given how prolific he is.

On kiken sugiru, Ringo is very reconizable in how she goes "ah!" a few times - but nothing more. The song is great though :)
