I've had this single pre-ordered since 2010. I think I can wait 12 more hours for it to arrive to my doorstep.
|
I got a free poster with my copy of the single, which is probably the most exciting thing about it.
|
I just got a poster with Circus, but not with this single.
Turns out the single still has the original release date printed on the obi and on the papers inside the jewelcase - but I can't say I'm completely surprised. Also, there's some kind of scent laced onto the CD booklet, kind of like with Adult. |
I'm positively jealous...=/

Picked it up yesterday. As Glat says, it seems to be a 2/23/11 release. 100 years from now, that's going to confuse people. :)
In the lyrics sections, there are specific words and phrases highlighted in red. For "Sora ga," the title is highlighted, along with the kanji in the words 残って and 響いている . When you combine those two kanji, you get 残響, meaning "echo" or "reverberation." Those two kanji are positioned on the EXACT same horizontal plane of text, and if you hold the booklet up to the light in just the right way, the other characters disappear and all you can see is the song title and 残響 in red. I think that's pretty cool. "Onna no ko" isn't that clever. Just the song title and "Like a virgin" (in katakana characters) are highlighted in red. |
"The Reverberation" is the English title of "Sora ga" according to Kronekodow.
"Onna no ko" is "Fly Me to Heaven". I'm surprised those words aren't highlighted then, in the lyrics. Maybe that means on the album "Onna no ko"'s title will change to "Like a virgin"? |
