Ringo’s upcoming single is a double A-side which have both received tie-ups. “Irohanihoheto” will be used as the theme song for Matsushita Nao’s upcoming drama, ‘Kamo, Kyoto e Iku. ~Shinise Ryokan no Okami Nikki~‘, starting on April 9th. The song was both written and composed by Ringo herself.

Meanwhile, “Kodoku no Akatsuki” was written as the theme song for NHK E-tele’s new program, ‘SWITCH Interview Tatsujintachi‘, starting on April 6th. Ringo, who received the offer to provide the program’s theme song, had Watabe Aya, the scriptwriter for drama ‘Carnation‘, write the lyrics. For this song, Ringo was in charge of the composition and arrangement.

The cover art is very Shiina Ringo. It reminds me of at least five other SR album/single covers.

I did mean that picture. We don't know, no. As it goes, they released a photo of her near Carnation's announcement that *didn't* end up being the cover art. It still reminds me of previous SR covers in the way other pics haven't, though.

Not expecting anything tremendously new but it's at least nice to know she's arranged both tracks. I suppose we'll hear (shortened) versions of both songs next week. Maybe there are previews on the show sites (I can't check at the moment)

Because SR's feeling liberated and stuff, maybe? Freedom is seven characters. Grasping at straws. The titles for the Carnation b-sides and the Jiyuu..etc. are very 'positivity!!!' if you know what I mean.

(but if she thinks Dai Hakken is worthy of celebrating that occasion then I'd rather be trapped between Kameda's thighs for eternity)

Now I feel observed... Wouldn't be the first time that is thought that Ringo, casually and sneakingly, browses the forum (In other word, lurks).

That being said, at least, I feel heard and given attention! I must be grateful of this! :D
