東京事変、CD-BOXとMVセレクションを同時リリース決定
2013年の2月27日。東京事変の極め付きの2作品が同時リリースされることとなりました。

ひとつは、完全限定生産のコンプリートCD-BOX『Hard Disk』。過去の全オリジナルアルバムと『深夜枠』のCD7枚に、特典Disc「Recovery Disc」も加えた全8枚組。LPサイズの特製ジャケット、特典には事変ロゴが刻印されたUSBメモリーなど、永久保存を推奨するアイテムです。

もうひとつは、ミュージッククリップ・セレクションDVD/BD『Golden Time』。傑作ぞろいの事変クリップから10曲を厳選するとともに、未収録クリップも初収録、さらには「閃光少女」のクリップの再編集版を制作と、タイトルに違わぬ豪華さです。

That's over $300 for stuff I've mainly already got. I'm a sucker but I dunno... this MAY be too much.

I will definitely get the Blu Ray, but the CD Box will depend on my finances in February and whether or not its sold out. The "LP sized book" sounds nice though. Only time will tell, hopefully someone can translate the info on the site properly for us.

hard disk has an extra last disc called recovery.. or something. WHY MUST THEY DO THIS TO ME? It also seems like it comes with 52 photos, USB memory stick, and more...

and then golden time has konya wa karasawagi, tadaranersjawkawk kankei, and senkou shoujo on it.

As far as I understand- the "Recovery Disc" is a USB stick or something? It's all so confusing.

I think the two are separate? also, 9 unreleased songs. whatttt. I am assuming one of them is an alternate version of Service?

I don't really have money for this stuff - especially not the CD Box. The new video release(s) make enough sense, though.

They should've made a MoRA-like DVD boxset of the album discography in 96kHz/24bit. That definitely would've been worth the price.

^ yes, I would be right on it with no reservations if it was 96/24... I'm scared to order in case this actually happens too :-p But yeah, just forked out all my dough on Xmas goods so I won't be ordering till end of January at the earliest IF i decide to go with it.

It would be fun to have a thread where we create press releases for upcoming Jihen products.

I really don't understand why the DVD release doesn't include all of their PVs to date. the recovery disc with the 9 unreleased songs is really interesting though, even if it'll include only alternate versions and demos of released songs i'll still be satisfied. I hope Ringo will also release a demo\outtakes collection for her 15th anniversary
