In which New beats Old. Ringo Reclamation.

Old renditions are great, but SR performs them in a uniquely SR way and reclaims the song.

1.Tsukiyo no Shōzō
2. Anya no Shinjyudate

Her age.

Marunouchi Sadistic.

Or are you thinking specifically of songs she's given to other artists?

deadgrandma 2015.05.07 06:11 PM

Yeah need to know what exactly you want before I reply to this properly. Sure theres some newer renditions of stuff that's better than older stuff, it's undeniable.

I'm gonna be controversial and go with the HF Gamble over the original Gamble for a start. Incoming rocks.

The Most Curious Thing 2015.05.07 06:26 PM

Do you mean Reimports 2? Is there enough new old content for that?

deadgrandma 2015.05.07 06:31 PM

Reimport 2 will be out this year (or pretty soon at least) I reckon, what with Saihaite out next Wed and all. Hell, She might be able to use the going over to Taiwan thing as a kicker and call it Re-export. All she has to do is switch the cover around to have the statue facing the other way :-p

I could probably dig this, Reimport was decent enough, at least IMO. The opening run (first 4 songs) is still top notch Ringo to my ears. And it still sounds like more of a new album than Sunny does, regardless of it being self covers.

Being postive/optimistic about potential new Ringo... I have missed this. DONT FUCK IT UP FOR ME WOMAN.

KSK's Yattsuke Shigoto > ZCS
Mayonaka Sid > MM Sid

In my humble opinion, of course.

^ Agreed.

I think I'm the only person who prefers the original TJ arrangement of Tsukiyo no Shōzō, though... There's a certain tension and suspense in it that I think the Julie London/Peggy Lee "torch song" version lacked, just sayin'. I wish we could hear the TJ arrangement with SR's vocals. :\
