Just cuz Chickshhh gave me a chub by making a thread solely to post about my favorite (current) band ever, I feel obligated to keep the thread alive.

Heres my recommended album (and I'm gonna keep it in England, just for fun):
Beth Orton - Trailer Park ('97)

Everytime I'm asked to list my favorite bands, Beth Orton comes in third behind Oasis and Shiina (of course, The Beatles "dont count" as they're above mere mortals.) Everytime I type out her name, I know people just skim over it cuz I know they don't recognize the name. "Some unknown - wtfever."
Actually shes fairly well known in England. Not the most famous dame around, but shes got her following. Won the Brit award for Best Female music act in 2000 or some year.

Aanyway, heres a sample and proof that when I blather on about "rock and roll" im not necessarily talking about blaring guitars and fast drums.

I would list my favorite bands as

3 Bright Eyes

Yes, Virginia is their 3rd Album, you would really enjoy it if you give them the chance, they are very rock-jazzy in a wicked style...

いきものがかり - 桜咲く街物語
Ikimonogakari - Sakura saku machi monogatari
It contains all 5 of their singles, and I would have a hard time picking a favorite between them. Anime fans may recall hearing "HANABI" as one of the Bleach ending songs. You might also have seen them perform "SAKURA" on one of the end of the year music specials.
