Personal Messages
 

My usual german board has a new feature:
When you got a new personal message, a small window pops up showing you a link and a closebutton. When click on the link, you are redirected to the message and the popupwindow closes itself.

Since this is such a badass expensive professional board, I thought there could be something similar, or at least something that draws your attention somehow on a new message. At the moment it's just the difference between a 0 and a 1 and you can easily overlook this for weeks, as I experienced.

And last but not least, I'd like to know, why there is this 60 messages limit, when we got that much webspace just for attachements.

Hmm, both ideas sound nice... o_o;;;;

There's a notification system on the user control panel. Under edit options, check Show New Private Message Notification Pop-up. I think that's the kind of solution you are looking for. :)

You should petition for that now instead. :lol:

I just waited 3 weeks for a reply, because a certain well known member didn't found the message for all this time, so yes I think this should be standart^^
But my privacy police does not allow me to give out the name XD
