SR's new album will come out on June 24 and will be titled Sanmon Gossip!!

Well that's a lot sooner than I was expecting! great news, hopefully it's gonna be the "second coming" in a musical sense.

They say in the Ringo-han (official fanclub) mail that this is her first solo album in 6 years, since KSK ... Looks like HF doesn't count!

Oh! so their classing it as the real successor to KZK !!! start the unrealistic hype machine right now!!! :lol:

"Cheap Gossip"? Seriously?? Looks like neko's prediction about this being just like Lindsay Lohan's "Rumors" is coming truuuuuuuuuue......

I also really like her using the old format (2-kanji word + katakana word)

Except for the fact that Lindsay Lohan is a crack whore and Shiina Ringo is a soccer mom.

Well I know next to nothing of what Lindsay Lohan's album was about but Shiina can make something that I'd be more willing to hear (although that maybe simple because I'm her fan.) Though, I don't have any hopes that Shiina's album will be significantly better than TJ's last attempt (if she can make her new album at least half as enjoyable as Hatsukoi Shoujo I'd declare it yattsuke shigoto and be ok with it).
So Sanmon Gossip translate to cheap gossip? Is she back to were Shouso Strip left off? With the two word titles one in japanese the other in english?

I'm on my iPod Woot woot. Um so I will translate the email when I get home but based on a quick look I can say that they made a few interesting notes the title totally suits her. Sanmon means cheap. Like three penny gossip. In Japan before yen it was Mon. So three Mon is cheap. Right. So. Cheap gossip yup. More later
