I totally didn't steel this idea from Scribble! I sent a PM to Frecklegirl a week ago!

*ONCE YOU HAVE VOTED PLEASE WRITE "I VOTED!" IN THE THREAD BELOW!*

Anyways, here is how it works.

I want this to be a BLIND VOTE, so you can't see what other people voted and you can't be influenced in what your vote is.

Therefore, PM me with your ballots.

Each ballot should have two lists:

Songs you actively like/enjoy

and

Songs you actively dislike/hate

If there is a song that you are effectively "neutral" about, don't even write it down.

Each songs that is "liked" gets a +1. Each songs that is "disliked" gets a -1. Therefore, the ranking is based on consensus for all of EMF (the more people that like the song, the higher it is) instead of favorites or how much one likes a song. This hopefully means that we end up with a list nobody can disagree on.

THERE IS NO LIMIT TO HOW LONG EACH LIST CAN BE. You can take her entire discography and split it into the the two categories if you like.

As a guide, here is a list that contains hopefully every Shiina Ringo song.
Key: Covers=green, Songs for other artists=pink, TJ songs not written by SR=red, SR as a guest=gold

All solo albums and solo bsides for me.

can we also include live versions (incl. unreleased)? because then I would put the Domestic Virgin ver. of Gunjou Biyori in my liked list while the album ver. would be trashed to the dislike list (I see the Gunjou Byori case as the finest example of how an arrangement can make or break a song)

Tsumi to Batsu and Gips are not her 'bestest' songs. It's fine if Honnou is number one though =P =P

I'm more interested to see what the 'worst' list is

I think it would be better to just leave Gunjou neutral, otherwise the list is going to end up being really fractured. (Like, 3 votes for Tsumi to Batsu (CD), 2 for TtB (EM Ver.), 1 for TsB (Expo Ver)... you get the idea) I mostly want to focus on the CD-recorded versions. I included EM, DO, JCHI, and ZE because they are notable live shows for Shiina.

Her bestest is Tsuki ni Makeinu. :mellow:
