I guess to a few that would seem odd
I buy one copy for ripping/playing and buy another copy as backup that's to be kept sealed (First-Press where possible) I think it's it's nice to have a whole collection of somethings still sealed and untouched by others, especially when it's of something you really love! so no matter what happens to your main used collection it's a kind of peace of mind knowing you have a perfect collection on standby! and I also just like collecting things as well.
(and complete sealed collections command a much higher price than sealed separates
)
