Spinning KPP's Pika Pika Fantajin for the first time, and mostly it's exactly what you'd expect from KPP. Whether that floats your boat or not will ultimately determine whether you like this release or not.
However, there is one track I really want to point out because it is truly, undeniably brilliant. That is the song Serious Hitomi and it really breaks new ground for KPP - it's very punky yet still bubblegum at the same time- and it works wonderfully. I was surprised by it. Pity the rest of the album doesn't really do much for me.
But still, definitely check out that track.
