Any big time Urbangarde fans around?
Theyre the band that's always been there but I've never been able to get into fully. Anyway. I bring them up because their new album, SHOWA 90 is pretty fucking INSANE (in the whole "INSANE JAPANESE!" way). However, there's legit talent behind the insanity and it really shines through on most tracks.
I feel the WTF element may be easier to absorb if I had a bit more of a concept/explanation behind this new album- it seems to have a theme or story behind it??? Anyone into the band know anything extra to add some context to it? Thought I'd throw it out there.
Otherwise, if you're looking for something pretty intense and batshit right now, SHOWA 90 is the album for you!
