I should be the last person to know what's cool and what's not, but I like Utada too...
I think it's fair to say that the demos came from the heart as justriiingo did and IMO we've not consistently seen the same energy since Kyoiku or the same amount of sentimental appeal in the songwriting since Adult. Plus a song like Ringo no Uta has such an atmosphere and understanding of cosmopolitan musical influences, is it wrong for fans to wish she'd live up to that potential and not to get another album of less challenging material (written by other people?) which the two songs announced for it would suggest?
I got into Ringo since 2008 and want to be around for when a really great album drops...
