I really dunno man, you're critiquing against the entire point of Sennou's existence... (to be an Oomori take on idol pop)- it's basically the new Suki Suki Daisuki- seems a bit of a weird criticism to me. But each to their own I suppose.
You bring in Biophilia... OK, maybe it doesn't work 100%, but I don't think it's a failure either- it still has some truly inspired moments thoughout. I feel Bjork has nothing to prove anymore anyway, she made both Vespertine and Medulla, both of which are unmatched (particularly Medulla) in their concept and execution to this day.
