I'd be surprised if there's actually that many new fans who would even think about coming to a dedicated forum to discuss anything. Social media and Discord have really eaten up the potential scope for new victims.
The JPS Ringo thread is hella quiet as well and that's more capable of pulling some stragglers on other business in for a look. What we need is a MONSTER album! So many anons flooding the place way back every time an album came out as though there was going to be a MEGA link for it or something on the main page! Ayyy! A hot release will fix everything.
