I honestly think it's her worst by a margin and the staggering lack of online chatter (ghost town, actually) speaks the loudest on it. You wrote well in your piece and seem to enjoy it so fair enough.

The few defenders I've came across for it don't ever seem to give a reason for liking it. They just attack Seiko Oomori or quote sales figures and other odd things. None actually mention the music.

I personally only found scant shards of promise in the opening and closer, but felt both were squandered in execution. I honestly found no redeeming qualities in-between. So much of the music was old and recycled I couldn't take it seriously as an album and it came across as a desperate mashing together to pretend there was an album there to be had.
