Any Firefly/Serenity Fans?
For those that don't know, and its likely, Firefly was a great show made by Joss Whedon (creator of Buffy the Vampire Slayer) that got canceled in record time. But the little factor of cancellation didn't hinder it from being awexome and cause juuust enough furvur to spawn the movie Serenity.
Any fans of the show in da house? Just crossed my mind to ask when I picked up the Collector's Edition of Serenity yesterday.

Hell yeah!
This slipped under my radar, I had the series on dvd and never watched it till after i saw the film on tv when i had nothing else to do. The film itself as a standalone was pretty damn good and i watched the series afterward wishing for more and also that i had watched the series first. I wonder if Joss Whedon ever watched Cowboy Bebop ?? |

Yeah, it completely slipped under my radar until I watched the movie in the cinema, and then I literally left the cinema and bought the DVD. I wish I had have watched the series first, but still, it's frackin' awesome!

Let the necro-ing continue.
I loved Firefly. I mourned a bit when it was taken off the air. But at least they did make the movie and resolved major plot items, even if it was all over far too quickly. I've got the full DVD set of the TV show as well as Serenity. I may have to pop those in again soon. Man. Firefly, Beatles, pronunciation of fire. Jihad, you're like a version of me lacking the Uki-love gene. |

You must go out and rent Serenity ASAP. You know how when they try to translate some TV shows to the big screen, they are either lacking or just plain campy? Well, with Serenity, think the polar opposite to that.

I may be the only one who has seen Serenity but not Firefly.
