FINALLY. Vinyl obtained.
Only cost me US $210 altogether. (18,500 yen plus shipping from a private seller). I'd say its in NM condition, just has a bit of a dent on the top of the spine. Discs themselves look like theyve never been played more than once or twice. I see that on Y!A it's averaging around 25,000 yen these days (quite a drop from the middle of last year when I saw sellers listing it for 40,000), so I did OK. Still, a lot of money for one song :-p Seems reasonable when you see them Seiko Oomori CD-Rs going for 400 bucks a pop lolz :-/ @Glath: BTW, are Toridori (Rie Tomosaka) vinyl pressings legit? I see them occasionally on Y!A but dunno if they're bootlegs or not, seeing as I've never seen mention of them from you or anyone else on here... I'll post a link next time I see one listed. Now.... onto that test pressing of Uratamahime. It's only 65,000 yen right now :-p

Dont be crazy, you can't buy an Oomori CD-R for a mere 24000 yen!

Congratz on the winning the bid. You are the only person I know who owns the vinyl! I am happy for you.

Update: Nah, you're alright! There's better ways to waste £300 than this! Listened to it again today and most of the tracks are kinda rubbish! Seems like most were already produced and the guests just sent in a vocal instead of actually being left to their own devices on how to interpret their track. Maybe that isn't the case, but it sure sounds that way. No gems here! The rendition of "Y" is pretty shocking and strips the mood and meaning of the original to nothing but a jolly jaunt that sits ill at ease with the subject of the song...
