This is slightly off-topic, but one thing I wanted to mention, was that I recently noticed the prequels were doing Yoda's speech pattern to death, while in Empire Strikes Back, Yoda doesn't take his speech pattern quite as far as he could have.
Like, "Size matters not. The only difference is in your mind". He could've said "In your mind, the only difference is". In Episode 3, he'd say EVERYTHING that way. Seems like a continuity problem to me.

Yoda, native Yiddish speaker. Almost certain about that, although there were obvious Kurosawa/samurai references in the film as well.
Empire wins. Fun bizarre thing that never ended up happening... and embedding disabled.

Return of the Jedi. Haters gonna hate. Ewoks don't even ruin it for me.
I felt like the space battles were on a larger scale, Darth vs. Luke was the ultimate Star Wars battle, and I just love the overall feel of the movie. It was a nice way to wrap up a great series and it's filled with great moments. You have the Rancor, the battle near the Sarlac pit (even though Boba died like a little bitch), and Luke's story arc gets better closure than you could ever ask for. It may not be objectively the best (gotta give props to Empire) but it's been my favorite since I was little. I can't deny its appeal.

Ambivalence doesn't even begin to describe my feelings for Saint George.
But no question, Empire Strikes Back. |

Everyone's allowed to have their favorite, but objectively, Empire is a better film than the other fiv-I mean two combined. And if you disagree with that, then that's just like, uh, your erroneous opinion, man.
