Lighten up fool, just trying to inject some lousy humour into some non-serious business.
If you can't laugh at something as lame as that then fuck off. |

Well, a RickRoll is beginner-level stuff. To assume we'd laugh at it is kind of insulting. What's next, "pull my finger"? "I've got your nose"? "Where's the beef?"

I think Chiaki Kuriyama website confirms that both songs (sora ga natteiru and onna no ko wa daredemo) will be in CMs that Shiina Ringo will star. So that's +1 for Sora ga natteiru being used in Kissmint CM... I think a new product of them comes out the day before the single release, too
http://www.chiakikuriyama.net/producer/index.html oh yes its true, from 2ch: Last edited by Yahiko : 2011.02.06 at 10:49 AM. |

I loooooove the beginning of this song. The chorus from the preview is actually the weakest part of the song, I think. Very pleasantly surprised!
edit: 0:50-01:00 really reminds of another song but I can't remember which...

I think I don't like it. It sounds a bit, er, 'J-Rock'. I like the PV though. Actually, I do like the beginning of the song, and then Shiina starts singing. It's the vocal melody. |

But there still are these chords which remind me: "it's truly TJ". Especially at the end of the chorus. So don't hate it. But I'm too happy to hear something new to get a objective opinion |

Yeah, I think that's it.
I agree it's a little generic jrock but I still really like it (but not the chorus). I love the church bell thing that plays during some parts of the song.

Thats New Mexico, isnt it? The videos ending looks like its leading into a continuation with the soldier pushing the top secret luggage.
The song is good, yeah its leaning on straight and narrow jrock. heh, its starts like 3min, has a chorus progression like MaruSadi, and ends like Sounan. Last edited by ShadyNook : 2011.02.07 at 12:52 PM. |

I think it's pretty good. I may have to listen to this album (this is an album right? or are they just dropping commercial jingles?)
The jrock label is spot on. I havent tried listening to jrock since high school and even I thought "Hey, it sounds like those jrock songs from highschool." The song surprised me greatly, even if the song doesn't jump out at you blatantly. It has a good tone and feeling. And this is the best video the band has made since Shuraba, its awesome. (They flew to New Mexico for that? Did I miss something, or was there just one shot landscape shot?) While listening, I couldn't help but wonder why this didn't sound like the band I've grown to be embarrassed about and has finely honed my critical edge. And then they showed me: Two guitars, no fucking keyboard (or at least very subtle effects), Kameda and Uki are playing in there place. Its almost like they are a band! (by the way, just how fucking cool does the band look here?) I acknowledge, I am a sucker for some guitars, even when it's rather generic work. This song might not be your cup of tea if the Tokyo Jihen of the last 4-5 years (ugh) brought you here. I think its a good song that is worth keeping an ear out for their next long work.
