I'm not a fan of Pez, or HZM at all, for that matter. Yet I'm a big fan of Gunjo which he had a hand in writing.... (and Kao was great)

I'm still disappointed Hata isn't contributing something, even if he can't compose a full on song he could at least get his own drum interlude or something...of maybe some kabuki-related goodie since he seems heavy into that outside the band.
I'm looking foward to Kameda's song too. I know its only 1, right, 1? Or was it 2? I think it was 1...anyways, I really love both of the songs he wrote on Adult and I love the song he did for Yuki on her first album, I think it was called ふるえて眠れ (furuete nemure), that is such an amazing song. |

my speculation for the Variety tracklist music composer tally is
2 - Kameda 3 - Izawa 3 - Uki 5 - Shiina It will be a full realization of what she wanted from forming a band, and will be the TJ equivalent of a Beatles 'White Album' which will get severe mixed feelings among the hardcore Shena Ringo fans. Arguing will ensue. **edit** nevermind my prediction. I was told Ringo isn't writing any of the music this time. Kuronekopan is saddened by this news. The only conclusion I can make is that you don't like standard pop-rock, alternative, indie or shoegaze since you don't like any of the same music I do.
And every night at the beat of the drum You'd kill to be right, but I know you're wrong You drink from the heart And you pour from the soul You listen to trash But it's not Rock'n'Roll I'm going to expect that I'll like this album more than Adult simply because I have so much faith in Izawa's songwriting and the fact that Uki has to at least write one really good song out of seven. At the very least I'll like half the album just like Adult.

^ I like pop/rock, I don't know what you mean by "standard" though. I like some alternative, I don't like much indie, I only like a handful of groups, and I have never heard of the "shoegaze" genre.

It's hard to really dislike indie, as it has such a vague genre, or collection of sub-genre definitions which change over time.

Yea I know, but the main thing I don't like about indie music is low production value that many of the groups have because they are Indie. I think there are few groups that are good because they are the ones that can work around their limitations. But its not just that, I just don't like alot of indie music. not because it's "indie" but because I just don't like it like I don't like other kinds of music.
