Well, yeah...but then it wouldn't be funny.

ETA: But seriously, while Togawa is undoubtedly excellent (I'll have to check those releases out though), I still maintain that Ringo's got plenty of potential, were she to apply herself to it.

Can anyone recreate Sephiroth's theme using samples of her voice...?

Sephiroth's theme? Ringo GLaDOS' song would be Irokoizata.

Now that full version of Kou Shibasaki's MV is out, I did a quick review on the song itself

It's OK.

Is your scoring based on the song as a whole, or primarily on the music, or...? How much (if at all) do you think Ringo's vocals and/or a different arrangement might have improved it?

Like I said, the song is alright but boring.

And I do like Shibasaki's voice. I think putting Ringo in there in it's current state would only improve it slightly (maybe I'd give it a 7). It would require a full reworking/rearrangement to make it exciting. Perhaps of Reimport 2. However, I do think that there will be people who listen to this and just can't stand Shibasaki's softness either.

Ringo needs to lose the string fills, seriously. They're so 2007 :-p

Natalie did a report on the tour with some photos. She looks great, as usual. Well put together but decidedly less over the top than Expo '14.

That's quite the paper hat, though....

Am I mistaken, or is Ringo herself actually wearing the rama shirt on stage? If so that's pretty cool, that one can actually own part of her costume. I realize bands wear their own t-shirts all the time, but somehow this seems more special.

probably missed the boat on this one but someone uploaded the Rock in Japan Fest set from this summer to YouTube, in case anyone else missed it. Sorry if it's already been posted in here.

Here's part 1, the rest are presumably all queued up. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rGBg2XvomYI
