I haven't heard most of these songs, save for the Zazen Boys ones and the two that were released recently with videos, so this is all a nice surprise for me.
The Zazen Boys songs were from earlier albums, so it's easier to excuse those for still sounding a little like Number Girl, but actually the album those songs are from is one of their best albums IMO. |

@inseu: lets see how quick you (and all the other random jpop fans invading the Ringo shoutbox :-p) 'get over' the Nakata song haha. It's fun, but not much more.
IT WAS YOU and Kira Bushi as the worst? You gotta be joking right? No way they're worse than the Takashi Taniguchi tracks (sorry oldschool fans who will probably defend these)...

I am oddly enjoying Mitsugetsushou a lot more than Ukina. Some of the live recordings sound spectacular. That Meisai one in particular.

Yes, there's definitely some subtle tweaking going on there, probably from the blu ray rather than the old dvd mix I'd say.

The Nakata song isn't nearly as good without the video to accompany it.

^ Perfume's songs all sound better with their goofy dance moves accompanying them.

If I'm fan of Kyary Pamyu Pamyu and Perfume, I would obviously enjoy 熱愛発覚中 even more, as Ringo's vocals are way better. Plus I get over everything after 6 months, it's all about enjoying the process, rather than sticking to something forever. Kira Bushi, first the guy doesn't do anything for me in the image department, secondly I hear a lot of "pussy" in there, thirdly, I have an innate dislike for Japanese guys' whiny singing style. As for sweetest, catchiest melody, so are post-Adult Jihen, and I don't hear anyone praising those. :p |

Best collab songs for me were kirakirapussy, assassin, and kiken sugiru.
