Probably they just decided that Shiina Ringo is THE artist they chose to spend their money on collecting no matter how expensive it may be, and not the other way around.

Sure, I can totally relate to that - but for Shiina Ringo to be the highest expensive amidst other favorite artists you aren't neglecting, you'd have to go beyond collecting the music. If the music is what you're after, then it's really not so expensive compared to some the other artists out there. If the music alone isn't enough, then yeah - you could easily spend all your money on Shiina Ringo.

I understand where you're coming from, I collect a lot of artists. I have so many CDs but for that amount of CDs, the amount of actual artists are pretty small, I know what I want in music.

The biggest collection is still probably Nick Cave- though being in Australia means that it's pretty damn easy to get all this material. So yeah.

Though I think the biggest collection I've seen is my friends collection of everything Swans related

It's the same re-constituted, re-heated oatmeal she has been trying to peddle for years.

Agreed. Although I'm certainly not "serious" about collecting Shiina Ringo (not even close to some of you crazies ), when I got into her music four months ago, I started buying CDs at like $15 apiece. When I started collecting Meiko Kaji five or so years ago, I started buying 7"/LPs at $50 apiece. Not a huge discography, just an old an expensive one.

No climax in the full version. Hamfistedly inserted Jihen cameo. Son, I am disappoint.

I look forward to the Discovery tour version of this. The single arrangement bores me to tears. The melody is there though.

Interesting PV. A lot more blue than I would expect from a song called "Carnation".

Supposedly SR plays guitar on the live tour, so I guess the arrangement will be a little different at least.

I consider the single version to be more lullaby and the Jihen version as more fairy tale. Do you like pianica/accordion stuff? It has it. Does Ukigumo play a lute in the song? I thought I heard a lute.

The crowd was kinda all "Oh, is it over? Do we clap now?" when they finished.
