Fulltime Killer is all about assassins and stylish gunfights. It's like a dance of raining bullets and sparks. Sometime after FK all of To's movies became PTU/Election-like - less gunfights (maybe because less budget), and more psychological menacing.

And I realised I've never watched Fallen Angels in its entirety. Am I missing out?

Iron Man x)
Well, I guess 20CB is doing fine, given that the only other movie to be more than 7 weeks on the top 10 is a Ghibli.
I wonder when the DVD's gonna be released.

I saw 20 seiki shounen last Friday... maybe not bad but it felt like they had to fit a lot of story into a short time... (which is true). Maybe the movie is better if you don't read the manga first.
Actually to me the movie feels more like a tv drama the way it is shot. I guess maybe this is normal for Japanese movies. Always the close up halfbody shots a la drama :-(

True. Or at least I think so.
The reality of Japanese commercial films is that there are alot of "hit movies"
sponsored by TV, made advertisement in TV and filmed by men from TV.
