^Oh but there were panties... and it couldn't possibly be another tribute like heart shaped box. But SR do have a thing for borrowing western PV don't she? Wasn't Honnou's PV meant to be "similar" to virtual insanity, but came out slightly different, lesbians and all?

Shiina's superpower was totally washed down into the toilet some time last year. I believe she's as lame as I am now.

(I already thought it was a lame video in the beginning, so this just makes it even lamer. Plus, Ukigumo wrote the song! A new pinnacle of lameness. Unprecedented.) Peace & Love. (P.S admins: It's spelt "plagiarism")

assuming this is a product of Ringo's imagination is going a little far. If anything I would pin it on the director of the video. There is also the chance that they just never saw the Blur video. I mean, think about how many music videos are made a year all over the world. I know it seems odd, but they are very very simple videos, the simpler they are, the easier it is for them to look a like.
Strip it down to the elements and all they really have in common is the dancing, some of which is similar, but considering that that happens to be a certain style of dancing it doesn't surprise me. Either way, I still like OSCA better, more going on for it and the dancers are much more into it. |

I'll put money on it that it was the director's idea.
Quick story - many years ago, when I was doing A&R for a major label, I met with one of our new superstar bands who showed me the video they just finished. It was a really neat homage to a classic movie. Almost every single shot emulated something from the film. I was impressed and told them so. They replied to me that they'd never heard of the movie before and the video director had shown them some clips to show them the mood for the video. I was shocked at the time. In retrospect, it's easy to see how a video director with a good track record can manipulate an artist to do just about anything he wants. |

No don't blame the director. Blame the guy who sold them the coffee at starbucks every time.
* Pink panties at 54 seconds remaining. I would say the girl drinking booze at the beginning of OSCA is a Tommy february6 ripoff. |
