So I assume it's all working now then
------------- 3D head tracking created using Wii remote. That has impressed me more than 99% of the motion control content for the Wii. It would be so easy for Nintendo to create a Wii remote stand and IR LED headset which would push the industry and the console forward 10 times more than a balance board (Wii Fit), plastic steering wheel (Mario Kart) and gun peripheral (Umbrella Chronicles) will. Unfortunately they'd charge full price for the pack and include only '3D Duck Hunt' (I'd still buy it).

Wow, no more backwards compatibility? That's kind of messed up. Well, considering that SNES wasn't backwards compatible with NES and that they were both awesome consoles, I guess I can forgive Sony with hopes that the PS3 will end up being good. |

Well NES didn't nearly have as much games as the PS2 did, and the SNES was no where near that expensive.

....
a quick pat on the google monster and it spat out these little furball of info: total number of PS2 games as of Q4 2006: http://www.cdrinfo.com/Sections/News...x?NewsId=18901 total number of NES games, ever: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nintend...ainment_System The gaming industry has grown quite a bit over the 20+ yrs, but I would assume half of the 8000+ PS2 games are non-sensical anime graphic adventure, dating sim and straight out hentai trash from japan, not to mention movie cash-ins from the west. Right now, aside from Tekken 6, theres not a thing I like about PS3. Well may be blu-ray, but that means spending 4 times as much money to buy the PS3 and a decent 40 inch and up TV. What ever happened to bleem?Oh the joy of playing a 19 frame/sec game of Tekken3...

According to what I know they want to bring the backward compatibility of the PS3 back via a software emulator. But that will take some time, I guess...
Headtracking: OMG THIS IS SOOO COOL!

According to a local magazine (It's Hyper if any one know ) they gave up the software emulation all together with the 40gb HDD release, as part of the cost cut. The software emulation was like the rumble pack and motion control, all these "OMG-people-actually-want-this-quick-put-it-in" features made Sony look really really bad...

Hmm, I thought they STARTED to talk about software emulation when they announced the 40GB version, and gave up the 60GB's hardware emulation.

I'm addicted to Persona 3 again. Absolutely awesome game with great characters and a fun battle system. Fusing is just as fun as ever. I don't have any of the best demons yet (I've only maxed four Social Links so far). I have a good mid-game lineup though. I have a four element Kikuri-hime and I'm working on a four element Loki.
