^ thanks for that Op2.
Well I liked the verses, but the chorus was blah. My expectations of this album fall once again! (Hopefully low expectations means I'll enjoy the album more! *thumbs up*) |

That goes without saying. You'll like every song except the "classic Ringo" sounding song while TJ hates everything except that song. It's the balance of the universe, man.

KZK commercials were rawk. They were probly the best part of BX.
The Variety ad, howevva, was frightening =P EDIT: and Ramp never peaks above "average jpop mess." Do Uki and Izawa not know how to write a chorus and Shiina and Kameda not have the heart to tell them ever? this is not a "manly" song =P Its not nearly as bad as Osca and KT, but its not making me think there will even be one song on the album thats worth existing. (so this makes 3 songs that shouldn't be on the album over Pinnochio? =P)

Frightening is a good word. It's like Chucky.

After reading a lot of the recent posts on this thread i'm reminded of why I began to hate Spin magazine and Rolling Stone magazine. Music Reviews. I find that of all of the reviewable entertainment media, music reviews hold, by far, the least merit. I think if there was a band that did nothing more that play power tools, somebody would find a way to compare it to the beatles, and say its great. I think that listening to the songs with your own ears is the only way to get a worthwhile music review. It doesnt seem possible to me to have a real intelligent conversation about the goodness of any music. If you like it, you like it. If you don't, you don't.
But I guess it can be fun to discuss, just not very useful. Thats my opinion on music reviews. I'll post again in another 3 months, lol. |
