Yeah, but on JCHI they had ADULT to work with, and somehow made it pretty ordinary. I'm guessing that's where the strong distaste comes from. S&T didn't really offend as many people, as it was a VARIETY tour- of course those people were gonna be meh about it/whatever expectations they had were already tarnished by their feelings towards that album. That said, I think they did pretty well considering the material they were working with, plus no stupid visual cut in bits either.
Don't get me wrong, I do like both JCHI and S&T a fair bit, but S&T feels more like a full concert rather than an extended PV to me. Also, of course, I'm going on assumption here- I haven't been into Ringo and co for that long in the main picture compared to some of the older fans here- but I know how I felt when I saw JCHI expecting something as great as the album the tour was supporting. Oh well. Anyway, that's just my (most likely bullshit) theory on it.

Yep. Phase 2 sucks at rock Gunjou. They should have continued to rework their Virgin Line country version over the years instead.

I can't possibly understand the hatred of everyone here to JCHI, I think it's their best DVD (though Domestic would've been the best if it was released on DVD), their versions of Kiyouiku songs were even better then DO's versions or the album versions

LOLOL I brain farted
Yume no Ato I meant. ーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーー The song I had in mind when I said that....was this. I use to really like Koda, 2006 was a fun year in her career. I listening to the mirror A-side "Futari de..." when I made the comment. I hate her ballads. But I liked the remix for Futari de... edit: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-HrrZ6h1Zag don't know what happen, I linked it above. Last edited by LoBFCanti : 2012.07.07 at 12:26 PM. |

I finally got around to watching this, got up to the first half, just to the end of the ice cream song.
Initial overall reaction: WTF?!?!??!?!!! I'm sure I will have a more sedate reaction after watching the whole show and absorbing it a bit. But all I can think right now is: yeah, there's music, singing, dancing, etc., but really this show is about giving people ideas on what to wear for Halloween this year. |

I still haven't watched the last half of this. I'm still recovering from the first half, and not in a good way.
