Those pictures were sent from a friend I have in Japan so the origin is unknown to me and I'll doubt she knows either as she's not a fan but tends to alert me whenever she comes across anything, though I'd hardly say those alerts were regular or always about rare things. :/
It's certainly an eye opener though eh? I had no idea so many tapes were out there! like they go all the way up to Ringo no Uta! there may even be some later ones not in the shot? Stuff just keeps popping up! |

Some of my stuff turned up today well it was yesterday actually but I couldn't get to it until I paid a £47 Customs fee and marched to the post office to pick it up! which was a hassle in it's own right as they wrote Denzel on the box instead of Daniel anyways I got some tapes which are pictured and got my first-press Geko DVD and Mayonaka single so that finally completes all the first-press singles for me.
I also got Zazen and Kyouiku cardboard promos! and a whole bunch of giant newspaper like things filled with Ringo pictures and info (and a syringe pen!). Most importantly though (well for me) was the July 1998 issue of monthly Pati Pati magazine (whatever that means) which has a mint condition giant full page advertisement for Koufukuron which is on some nice paper and will scan nicely and make an epic poster for the wall. That image has been one of my long term targets so it's great to tick it off. Tapes.jpg Jumble.jpg Page.jpg Last edited by Ringo~Bingo : 2010.02.17 at 05:13 AM. |

There are lots of magazines featuring Tokyo Jihen now. While picking up Sports, I also got one of those magazines: Switch. It's really worth it, it got about the 50 first pages with a huge special on Jihen/Ringo. Lots of nice pictures, Ringo is hot again. :-) And, as has been said, she's really long haired private. Her on stage ego always wears short wigs.
There are a couple of other magazines too, but I'm keeping within budget. :-) |

Ringo's hair is long? Really? I wonder how they hide it under wigs? I also wonder how they went about cutting her hair off in Expo!? (I thought the half long, half short hair was AMAZING! I wish she kept it that way)

Yes, you can see her long hair in the "off-stage" shots in this magazine. Maybe there's a scan somewhere on the net! :-)
