How dare Squenix protect its copyrights!
And Squenix has been in the recycling buisiness since the PSX days.

I remember buying Final Fantasy VI on the PSX. Though it was mostly for the Final Fantasy X demo that came with it. And haven't a ton, if not all pre-VII Final Fantasy's been released on Nintendo portables?
Oh and I watched those Pure videos a few days ago. The Italy level in particular looks stunning. Look's like Motorstorm + SSX. I've been craving an arcade OTT racer that isn't Burnout for a while this generation. Some in-game shots of 360 RPG Star Ocean 4: This looks pretty stunning, graphically!

Oh my goodness. That looks amazing! There may very well be a day when I actually buy a 360 game!! My brother bought the most recent one of those for the PS2 a while ago and it looked OK, not too shabby, the gameplay seemed fun but I wasn't too impressed with the world. NOW I am. The character designs look alright from the back, at least.

An AV club preview gives more info on the new Rock Band 2 instruments, and some of the "new ways to experience the music" that Harmonix was talking about, to be unveiled at E3.
The Rock Band 2 guitar has several refinements. "We went through maybe 25, 30 different strum bars. What we ended up doing is giving it a nicer, more tactile, less mushy feel. There’s no click at present, but there’s a vastly reduced travel." It also comes with an automatic calibration system with a built-in mic and light sensor, which looks neat. The real up sell is the drum kit. If you're a serious drummer, you can buy the new improved kit with a metal-reinforced pedal, quieter velocity-sensitive pads, and wireless support on all platforms. The kit also comes with new additions and peripherals, which will be revealed at E3. Clearly, the addition of a drum kit marked a new direction for the franchise. While the guitar loosely simulates and abridges the experience of playing guitar, the drum kit is a drum kit, and the game represents an actual set of training wheels for up-and-coming percussionists. Rock Band 2 takes this a step further with the addition of an actual drum training program. I watched Teasdale demo this, and it resembles the game's practice mode, but with a large library of basic beats and fills: "Simple 8th Note Hats," "Robot Rock," "P-P-P-Panama!", "Upbeat Hats 1," and so forth, all playable on three kits – electronic, vintage, and "trashy.". There's also a freeplay mode, where you can play drums over mp3's that you've ripped to your console. Awesome. While Harmonix have yet to confirm or deny the leaked track lists, they have announced these 10: "Ace of Spades" – Motörhead "Everlong" – Foo Fighters "Pinball Wizard" – The Who "Panic Attack" – Dream Theater "Any Way You Want It" – Journey "Chop Suey" – System of a Down "Kids in America" – The Muffs "Give It Away" – Red Hot Chili Peppers "Hello There" – Cheap Trick "Pump It Up" – Elvis Costello

Doubt post, but necessary!
So, Guitar Hero 4 came along and tried to poo on our rock bands drums with it's posh cymbals and velocity sensitive pads. Oh how Harmonix bounce back. The new bundled kit includes velocity sensitive pads, cymbal expansion slot, soft quiet texture and metal pedal. But that just wasn't enough. Harmonix are creating a deluxe kit sold separately. Not only is this kit insane looking and a better build quality but it actually works as a PROPER electric drum kit outside of the game. AND Harmonix are leaving it open to be used in any game. Since GH: Aerosmith allowed Rock Band Guitar compatibility it's hopefully looking like we'll be getting a cross compatible instrument future where everything works with everything. Check out this bitch: I'm sure it'll be mighty cheap
