And also another example of how small the Ringo community actually is

Ah ok, the original CD is truly awful but it's still slightly less concerning than the "remaster" (just look at the difference on the quieter part around 2:15-2:40ish). I'm willing to bet the whole disc is plagued with hard cut-offs too if you were to look into it further.
I just can't understand what they were thinking here. It really does my brain in. I hope them cheaper Taiwan 'reissues' aren't the same. I wanna know for sure but I'm not buying one just to find out. This really wasn't just for fun, shoulda taken it as a warning, seeing as everything DOES sound like this now: As for letting the 'die-hard fans buy the disc'- there's a difference between being die-hard and being a dumbass :-p Seriously, the only people who should be buying this are those going to the show, for nostalgia reasons. It would be absolutely pointless buying this to listen to.

I could not understand why the taiwan disc is brickwalled in BOTH waveforms and frequency (a clean cut around 21.5k), and the bootleg-like design they included. The brickwalled (both frequency and waveform) trend was started in mid 2014 and ended before 2015. The notable examples are Re:import, BENI's best and Amuro's Ballada. Although it has ended already, Universal is still thinking it is appropriate to do so in the taiwan disc, it is horrible.

Can someone with a Twitter account ask Ringo why she's destroyed her music on this album? I'm curious.

Haven't we all agreed by now that most modern music is too fucking loud?

Yep, the modern music sounds loud. But If you LOVE to get some mp3-like-transcoded CD, then go ahead
NIPPON single: NIPPON from Hi Izuru Tokoro: If that's normal, then I'm really sorry for being a kid who spitted on your lawn. |
