Yumi from Go!Go!7188 went solo?! That was a really good song. I loved the piano. Very different for her. I always loved her voice.

Oh, it's an old album. I thought this was recent. I had no idea she ever made a solo album.

Ten no Mikaku is one of my favorite albums of all time.
It's on par with Shiina Ringo's solo career.

I did the same thing — I just found a compilation album but it's better than nothing. Thanks for the Duppi link too, Tesla. It reminds me a bit of Phew and the minimalistic feel of Dreams by Otomo Yoshihide.

I'm now also interested in Ten no Mikaku, so my thanks go for Glathannus too.

? But I'm a huge Nishikawa fanboy... Or am I setting expectations too high for that girl?

So thanks for the Yumi (Yuu?) Nakashima suggestion, Glath and the fox. Ten no Mikaku is certainly an...eclectic album. Which a suppose is a safe, catch-all word for an album like that -- I'll have to listen to it a couple more times to form a solid opinion.

I love this band. This is one of their slower songs.

I think their anglicized name would be 0.8 hyuutoshuugeki?

And here's another.

So I found yesterday this obscure album (a cassete rip, obviously out-of-print) shared on a blog... the same moment when "The leading online storage and file delivery service" was being closed and dissapeared. GREAT.
