Yeah I had same experience with Side A as most people. I haven't read all the notes yet tbh. Though revisiting MCIS I now find Galapagos to be my new favorite song, I never really rated it before. Kinda like Long, Long, Long on the White Album.

Flaming Lips - Transmission from the Satellite Heart My second Flaming Lips. I only listened to about a third of Yoshimi before turning it off. I'm determined to give this one a full listen. |

Woo! Satellite Heart (and moreso Clouds Taste Metallic) are the FLips during their alt-rock phase, and some of their best records!
Look for She Don't Use Jelly (their "biggest" ""hit"") Be My Head, Slow Nerve Action. Lots of variety on Satellite Heart.

I finally discovered the greatness of Faye Wong, I don't know why it took meso much time to get into her but I'm glad I did. so far I've listened to Jiang Ai and Fable LP and love them both
