Either: + SR is retiring completely + TJ is going on a long hiatus and/or SR is going solo There's been way too much hello/goodbye -- life/death, and in magazine interviews, a case of 'doth thou protest to much' about TJ breaking up. Last time this happened was what, KZK? And both the Noudoteki Sanpunkan and Kachi Ikusa PVs seem like send-off videos. Hibernating peacock towels? Final nail. It ain't just me being paranoid now. Edit: So, if that's the case, then a 2011 Jihen B-Side collection? Us And Our Electric Flatulance, with BBQueen and more? How about it. Last edited by Scribble R : 2010.11.11 at 06:17 AM. |

I'll add another theory, and it's really obvious. So Phase 2 are being crucified (by the fans) and they're hibernating peacocks, so they'll release their album in April, which corresponds with Easter.
Their next album will be their final album. The TJ bird will become a phoenix, and they'll record the second bunch of Sports-era written songs that Ringo said didn't go with the album. It'll be a double album, named Tragedy/Drama and Comedy (The point is that they're not opposing forces -- seperate channels -- but one and the same. It'll reject the duality of the Sports era). Yep, and this is why the recent single is a double A-side. As I said, it's the final album. So Phase 2 is doing Comedy, and Phase 1 -- it's probably a good idea to stop now. |

scribble I have to admit if jihen went under I wouldn't be too sad, I'm kinda bored of them and ringo needs to shake the tree a bit. I know it would probably just be a matter of time before she was off doing something crazy again. the problem is she seems so comfortable with the boys that they aren't particularly challenged or doing anything anymore, it seems like they have fallen into routine, it just all feels safe.
I kinda hope they break up and then ringo can go on to do better things. the most exciting part about SG was all the collaborations. Hearing her incorporate Maboroshi into the album felt like a move in the right direction for her, getting out of her comfort zone a bit. |

i'll be surprised if Ringo as solo or with TJ can stay creative long enough to have a 20 year career. Thats aloooot of music if they continue releasing one album a year.
