bob dylan -don't think twice it's alright
this song's awesome because of how it seems endearing but yet spits acid at the same time. early dylan's crazy. (shit, page 600!) |

Two versions of another awesome Tomita Lab song.
Edited edit: Later last night I listened to many songs either written or produced by Keiichi Tomita, and came up with a couple of favorites. The first is from the Tomita Lab Shipbuilding album. Embedding is disabled, but that's just one more click.
The second one he produced for KIRINJI.

that Kirinji tune is re-igniting my interest in Yamashita Tatsuro...
On the side, another great tune I came across last night.
Just what I need to make the winter a little more bearable.

I think I have run across Solid Slider a half dozen times. Never really gave it a serious listen. I do quite like the roots Reggae. I worked at a Reggae studio back in the late eighties.
I also found something interesting late last night; Asa-Chang & Junray. They have a brief Wikipedia entry. Cool music. Cool videos too.

Brilliant song. Classic Herbet restraint clubby sound. I love. But. I haaaaate that compilation album cover soooo much. People who make album covers like that should be shot in the head. If the album is instead about the music of fashion, the girl should be wearing something, no? Ugh compilation albums.

The fact that I can barely understand her adds to the song. For me, at least.
