I don't understand how anybody can't hear the deemphasis of the mids and the emphasis put on the highs. It sounds like it's being played through a tin can at times.

Everyone's born with different ears and different listening capabilities. Not to mention of course, different brains.

First, I love Kyouiku. Second, I can tell that it is not very well produced. Third, I still love Kyouiku. So what does the fact that I am not bothered by the production of the album have to do with me liking ADULT?

These are more examples of arrangements not exactly sound quality dont you think? I do not think HZM playing loud has anything to do with how static-y the album sounds.

No, theyre production decisions, not arrangements.
And i didnt say HZM sounds static-ey, im just saying hes too prevalent in the mix. Tho in the cae of Gunjo, its more of a personal preference admittedly.

(an arrangement decision would be "oh, lets put a harmonica in!"

Oh, well, I like HZMs loud piano playing better than Izawa's slower pace so I did not mind that.

I always just assumed that this was how they wanted the album to sound, rather than a flaw in the production. I've always been fine with it because I thought it fit the songs for what they were.

adding more high's is to give better depth and presence in the sound.
lower frequencies travel further that higher..
so im thinking they made this album.. for 'headphone'-consumers

Well, I usually am hearing it on my headphones so I guess that is why I do not mind

I don't think I've listened to it any other way than through my headphones.
