DOLLS IS AN AWESOME MOVIE!!!! I have it at the house.... I'll watch it after work today.
This movie was completely comprised of awesome, because of the following reasons... 1.The soundtrack is too good. 2.KANNO MIHO (man I love her) 3.Kyoko Fukada (magical beam*with arm movement*) 4.Beat takashi is awesome 5.Miho practically says no words and still managed to be so emotional 6.Homeless people walking around in such fine, colorful clothing, and the fact the guy was clean-shaven the whole movie. 7.MIHO KANNO!!!! Sorry for the useless filler on the list... such as the music and clothing... did I mention kanno miho was in this movie? But seriously great love story with an ending that can be seen in many ways. The movie's theme was extreme love. There are 3 independent stories that are related to each other (just some characters walking by in others storues, lol), but each us about extreme love. Visually the move us gorgeous. The scenes, the wardrobes, everything. I would highly recommend you watch tge movie at least twice...

Oh. Kanno Miho is certainly The actress of Japan. Nice to see someone with the same acquired taste around here. :-)
Dolls is awesome too. Quite touching... |

It'll be a trilogy. The first movie coming out in Japan on August 30 so I guess it'd be around Christmas that I can lay my hand on a fan-sub pirated torrent version of it.
Release time for the 2nd and 3rd installs remains unannounced. This seems to be a mega-budget movie as it took 6 billion yen to make and thousands of filming locations in 7 countries, including Japan (duh), Thailand, America, England, and China. I so wanna tear down the local cinema if they refuse distributing the movie.

I'm really looking forward to Wall*E. I haven't been that fussed about the last few Pixar movies -- not that I didn't enjoy them, just that I wasn't that hyped beforehand.
