Barely. Otona-tachi is sex, but I think the rest of the album is starting to die on me. Even Tengoku for the Disc and Kinjirareta Asobi.

The album died for me within the first week.
It's really not a bad album it's just...boring. It's not very exciting.
The sparks will probably fly again once I get some live footage.

It's still on rotation, but pretty rare that I'll actually land on and stick with a song from it nowadays.

Only a few songs like the no. 3, 4, 6, 12...

Sports seems to have a better beat to me.

I just realised something. I haven't listened to any albums from 2011 for heaps long. All have lasted the same amount of time. Except PJ Harvey's Let England Shake. In fact, I don't think I can think of more than 3 albums from 2011 (so far) off the top of my head: LES, TKOL and Daihakken.

Still, there are 4 coming out next month that I'm really keen to somewhat interested in:

Keen- Opeth
Interested- Mastodon
Somewhat Interested- Bjork, Tori Amos

The majority of the time this year I've spent on anything coming out this year are re-releases of Togawa stuff and I have Daihakken in the car on repeat, mainly cause I've been to lazy to change CDs (yes my car only has a CD player)

2011 for music fucking sucks.

Wow, Bjork's new album is really coming out next month? Even as a Bjork fan, I've kind of just been listening from a distance. I wasn't overly keen on Volta, and she hasn't seemed eager to move on.

As per Dai-hakken... I'm bored.

If Daihakken is one of the three 2011 albums you can think of off the top of your head, you should look into more tunes

2011 has so far been really good for music and looks to be getting better: Feist, Wilco, Noel Gallagher (!), Atlas Sound!

The Strokes's newest was this year, along with The Orion Experience's NYC Girl EP, if that counts. Also 9mm Parabellum Bullet's latest album, not that anyone cares about that.

Don't know if this was already commonly known, but just stumbled on it looking through Wikipedia.

All songs arranged and performed by Tokyo Jihen except for "On'nanoko wa dare demo", arranged by by Takayuki Hattori and performed by the Tokyo Big Band Magical.
I'm not not surprised, I said as much in my review that I didn't think Tokyo Jihen had anything to do with it.

Who maintains the Ringo-related Wikipedia articles anyway? They do a hell of a job.

Oh wait, Chiaki Kuriyama came out this year right? Not that it really matters either. New Today is the Day- I got that one too. Feist meh, Wilco I dunno, Liam Gallagher- hates fucking trees.

Nah, Opeth will do me fine :-p
