But Aozora is so sweet and exuberant! And you can never go wrong with bossa guitars. I think the demo is the strongest version of Aozora (Maou and Kasanagi, go listen to the demo! It will change your opinion!) The b-side version not so much... the GX version is just horrible. The brainless rock arrangement destroyed everything good about that song...

My unlistenable/worst mix includes:
- MIRRORBALL (Variety intergalactic mess version)
- Mirrorball (JCHI country twang version)
- kuronekodo (Variety ADHD version, not that there are other versions...)
- Botomin (you know, there's a reason why Izawa and Uki are not singers...)
- If You can't touch it (it's a mind-numbing song that goes on and on...)
- BBQueen (gotta give Mr Cloud some points for making his guitar fart...)
- The lady is a tramp
- Onaji Yoru (MM version with lame violins)

And now for the Kameda trainwreck EP:
- Superstar... (yawn)
- Private life... (oh you mean it's a different song?)
- Senkou Shoujou (instant 3-in-1 coffee pop song)
- Toumei Ningen (Adulterated version, I put it under Kameda even though it was most likely not adulterated by himself)

There are more songs I don't like, but those above will definitely be a turn off even for fans.

Maybe it's a bit hateful, but it's also terribly amusing.

It's why Björk fans are known to make wallpapers out of the worst pictures of her ever. 'Cause somehow it makes her human and all the more loveable.

Of course, some people just don't like Tokyo Jihen.

Yeah this is pretty interesting, as much as TJ's earlier work was composed by Ringo, they are still two separate entities, I think, and it shows. Some people are TJ fans and some are Ringo fans. So this is almost like a forum for two artists or bands

. (Technically, it is but, you know what I mean)

But anyway, I liked Tokyo Jihen. But they keep disappointing me again and again...

out of all of her releases this is by far the weakest and contains pretty much nothing that represents what I think ringo is best at. it has some good music on it but the recording/mastering and the general strength as compared to other releases isn't that great.

Interesting....Disc 1 Track 1 of that album (Yattsuke Shigoto) was the first Shiina Ringo I ever heard. The rest is living history.

Dammit all to hell, I was pleasantly surprised to see Toumei Ningen go unmentioned in this thread, until now.

I actually like the version of YS that is on that collection but as a whole I just consider it to be her weakest release. Ringo has never released anything that was perfect, even KSK has its moments where I skip, but all in all I would *NOT* ever recommend zecchoushu to someone as their first introduction to Ringo.

edit: KARISOME OTOME (death jazz version) no waaaaaayyyyy I rock out to that song all the time.
