Oh, I can understand the hate towards Variety, but Heisei Fuuzoku?! I find it great... I only dislike the boring version of Kuki from it.

If you missed the HF hate (which I know Orenji didn't =p) just look earlier in the thread.

As for HF not being a real album (which, by the way, it isn't) The HF DVD was limited too, no? So why not do yet another limited release including it? Why not just re-package the cd when you wouldn't have to re-master it. It was only released almost 2 years ago, true -- but WtH was released almost 2 months ago. So whats the reason to not have it?
The saame reason UM is absent from the box.

I'm totally listening to Papaya Mango and enjoying it. Funny how it just takes two years and a legit comeback album to take the bad taste away. Go Ringo, just don't give me any more of this on the new one, kthnkbai

Papaya Mango. It comes after what might actually be my favourite SR song, Hatsukoi Shoujo, which has a really beautiful melody and harmonies everywhere, I'm in paradise, and then comes Papaya Mango with its plastic drums and her Dora Explorer wig ( © a_grumble_cake) and she's basically saying I'm annoying you aren't I? Yes. But you're enjoying it aren't you? Yes

. My brain just can't deal with that.

Edit: I need time to absorb the album as a whole, but it's very good. In a way the rehashes/rearrangements just enforce that these songs sound like standards, but I do wish the beautiful opening chords on this version of Meisai led to a different song than Meisai (in the same tempo, with the same violin as KSK).
