Sticking to post-Adult releases, OSCA, Killer Tune (which I don't even like half the time), definitely Noudouteki Sanpunkan, and even Senkou Shoujo (which I admit took a while to grow on me) were better singles than this. If I were to include album tracks, the list would be longer.

I like this song a little bit better than 3min.

I think my only issue with Jihen is that their sound is a bit old, they still seem stuck in that 5-piece rut. I could see this song fitting onto Kyouiku though so that bodes well. I'm interested to see what Ringo's b-side sounds like since this is Kameda's song. This is always MILES above the last two songs hes contributed (senkou shoujo and shiseikatsu)

the video is quite nice too.

I quite like it.

The video is great though, they even use the same set of cutlery as I do.

The song is just OK, but I love them for bringing some guitar noise to their music again.

It's so incredibly average that it's exact what I've come to expect from this band. Poor buildup that ends up going nowhere. Typical J-rock is correct since there are no solos and no cool breakdowns to give the song any kind of character.

True. I realize it's generic, and "uninteresting" as you call it. But if interesting includes shit like this and this or this mess, then I welcome this change. For a change they are all playing together, Shiina's singing is controlled, and as I said, the song has a nice feeling. You could argue it doesn't take a whole lot of risks like...*shudder* OSCA does, but safe is fine sometimes. It's a nice song that grooves.

Let me clarify, that on Sports the band did alot of what I'm saying is good as well. However, apart from Sannpukan, not a one person has referenced a Sports song in this thread.

Not at all. Not a single song on Kyouiku was as structurally lazy or as straightforward J-rock as this song.

I honestly don't see how a person could not like SPORTS...

I also don't see how a person could like his new single over 3 minutes. Depends on taste I guess... That being said, the new single is still pretty great.

Not a fan of the song. If I were to compare this to 3min., I'd undoubtedly vote for the latter. Oh, and Izawa has a scary glance in the video, lol.
