I can't tell how much I envy at you right now, guys.
just a question about Tengoku: was it the For The Tube ver.? I thought this version sounded James Bond-ish even without an orchestra. how many songs had an orchestra btw?

^ it's the for the disc version.

I really wish they hadn't performed kaitei. I mean, the performance itself was good, but there are so many other more representative and crowd-pleasing songs they could've picked!

She was constantly looking at the ground while singing the verses, I'm guessing she's looking at some screen with the lyrics. She looked bored while singing. Having mic wire problems (again!) didn't help either.

I think she was quite sad LOL. She shed a tear... Ringo was pretty steady during her last TJ concert.

But yeah, I thought her posture made it seem like she was quite bored of manouchi sadistic. But I just passed it of as she can't look at the audience without breaking into a burst of tears.

Yeah the mic wire problem was weird. It seemed like all the guys' guitars and kameda's bass was cordless(or so it seems) but Ringo has a custom mic which she didn't bother using wireless. I wonder why...

The orchestra had some time to play by itself. Its part sounded very similar to this:

James Bond 007 Theme Tune From 0:01 to 0:08

They repeated a tune similar to the youtube video from 0:01 to 0:08
If you imagine the tune played with mainly violins, violas and cellos, it sounds almost like that.

I CAN'T REALLY TELL YOU RIGHT NOW ABOUT WHICH SONGS HAD THE ORCHESTRA PLAYING, I FORGOT WHAT WAS ALL THE SONGS THAT WERE PLAYED. BUT I COULD SAY AROUND 5-7 SONGS HAD THE ORCHESTRA PLAYING.

I guess you are right! The first few songs she was really crazy about it.

Oh and her face was really angry after atarashii. I guess she was pissed about missing those few words when she was swinging her arms. But all was well after that. She didn't do anything majorly wrong afterwards.

Saito Neko's violin was a nice addition in season sayonara. Imagine him playing the tune of the song. Unfortunately the violin was overwhelmed by the loudness of the guitar, bass and drums. Only during the quiet parts, then you can hear the violin.

Thanks for the impressions guys!

But let me get this straight: they had access to a full orchestra and didn't perform Tegami? For shame. That's as big of a missed opportunity as the instrumentals from Ringo Expo.

It wasn't really a full orchestra. I think it was just saxophone, trumpets, trombones, violin, cello and maybe viola.

Glad to share!

Gotcha, but that's still enough for a really good version of Tegami. Especially with how much Phase 2 has improved since the early days.

Ringo botching is great. It can go in the funny moments catalog with her botching the first ever performance of Gunjou Biyori and botching Superstar on the Dynamite tour.

I'm expecting a DVD around June or July.
