I dunno, DG. This sounds more like a change in personal taste rather than anything fundamentally wrong with what you think Ringo is doing. People seem to be quite pleased. Maybe it IS time you moved on

If there's nothing fundamentally wrong with reported lip syncing then by all means, people stay pleased.

And yeah. I think I will at least take a break. Ringo depresses me at the current time.

The exact quotes I were sent (this is from somebody on FB who was in conversation with someone who was there)

"I'm also sad to say this, I saw lip syncing on the two auto tune song, that nakata and Coca-Cola song"

"She was dancing with the ear attached mic, and it kept pointing up from time to time, and the vocal continued"

I seriously hope it's just for these kinds of songs. I can't imagine her doing it for the ones where the vocals aren't processed. I hope. But she used a vocoder in other lives for the coke song, tha fuck is going on?

Better make sure that ear mic is glued on properly next time, Ringo.

I thought she lip-synced like Mariah Carey/Perfume for the whole thing. But two auto-tuned songs? I think it's appropriate, as long as she won't lip-sync other non auto-tuned songs. (Btw I saw some Japanese reports [i don't know Japanese so I doubt I understood them clearly] that Ringo's vocal is quite nasal in the first day.]

I dunno man. Thought she left that for TV only. This is why autotuned Ringo songs are the devil and should be illegal.

And if that vocoder use on the festival shows WAS indeed synced/backing track- then why the fuck fake you're using a vocoder????

God damn, yeah. I'm gonna take a break from Ringo for a while. See you on the other threads. This all makes me feel too down.
