Yess~ thanks so much frecklegirl! I might be able to appreciate the songs more after reading the lyrics through.

Thanks a lot, frecklegirl! I drool over any new translations. I personally didn't ask you because I didn't want you to feel like you were obligated to do it. But yes, the interest is always there. =)

Thanks a lot frecklegirl, of course we care!

I particularly liked Kimaru, even though I'd like to know if "kiss-like" is a colloquial term I'm obviously not familiar with; perhaps it's an exclusively Japanese idiomatic expression that got kinda lost in translation.

I hope frecklegirl or somebody else can enlighten me. Anyway, thanks a lot for your effort once again.

No... those whole lines are just kind of confusing to both me and the native Japanese speaker I consulted with. It's a pretty just literal translation of what she said that makes very little sense.

I think in a lot of cases, Ringo intends to be that convoluted to allow space for interpretation. Nowadays with her I rarely jump to the conclusion of translation limitations, but that also has to do with my universal artistic philosophy. I think maybe what she means is the kind of foggy sensation one might feel kissing someone they were really into. By saying "in its deep layer" she means she's sinking in the feeling so deep, it's like she can look up and the feeling stretches miles above her.

I think Kimaru might be my favorite out of the new translations, but it's hard to say.
