Yeah, it's all about the mood and atmosphere for BP. Heaven's Kitchen in particular. Although I wouldn't say that I'm a 'fan', that album isn't going anywhere.

It makes me happy to listen to April Shower when it's raining in April.

It's also probably the most depressive Bonnie Pink song ever, along with "Kingyo".

I like BONNIE PINK, but I can only listen to her so much. Her voice can be a bit grating.
My favorites include "Heaven's Kitchen", "Sakamichi", "Do You Crash?", "It's gonna rain!", "Anything For You", "Last Kiss", "Water Me", "Nagusami Blue" (<3333) and "Building A Castle".. quite a lot of songs, yet I have barely listened through any of her albums. The only BONNIE album I've listened through all the way is the recent Thinking Out Loud and that was just cause I bought the Swedish edition. I didn't regret that though. Great music. One of the songs I mentioned, below. I discovered it recently, heh. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SDeAsC537GE Last edited by Simon : 2009.04.17 at 11:41 AM. |

Judging form the number of posts on this thread, she obviously deserves my attention. Good thing that JPOPSUKI is back up.

Just listened to "Fed Up feat. Craig David".
Not very Bonnie Pinkish, too repetitive, I don't like it much, but it's an interesting "change". I suppose ONE is going to be as varied as Thinking Out Loud, considering the diversity already present in the "Joy"/"Happy Ending" single plus "Kane wo Narashite". Anyway, this means there's 10 new tracks for me in the album. Sounds prety good and just one less than Sanmon Gossip. 2009 is being a great year in terms of favourite artists releasing a bunch of new material. As a side-note, I just noticed the 15th track is "Ring a Bell", the english version of "Kane wo Narashite", a song that is already present in the album. So here's another example of an album coming with a bonus track (like the "Maruno" thing in SG). |
