I don't think we are going to get one. I think she was recording and kind of gearing up to eventually go down that road, but then she found out she was pregnant and stuff has happened. she said she had no plans to release an album during last tour (which was before she was pregnant), soooooo, who knows. WAVE was forever ago though, 2006? Her management said that she will continue working as she has always done up to know while supporting her family. I think she will probably come back and release something else, maybe Fall at the earliest. If she does an album it probably won't be until 2010.

She has enough old stuff to tide me over till then.
It's so strange to think of her with children! I'm just picturing her dress from the Music Fighter PV as a maternity dress...

just announced, YUKI will be releasing a new single in November which will be the theme song to a new movie called Magare! Spoon! (Bend! Spoon!). Kind of funny considering over a year ago her tour's theme was related to bending spoons...

Does anyone know if the JAM DVDs are really Region 2? I'm thinking of getting Miracle Night Diving 96, after seeing it on YouTube. Looks like a must-have.

I love Yuki and Judy and Mary. I first got interested in her when I heard the OP songs from Honey and Clover which is still one of my favorite anime. She's got such an adorable voice. She's probably somewhere in my top 5 Japanese singers.

YUKI has a new single coming out 11.18 called Cosmic Box. It is the theme song for a new movie called MAGARE! SPOON! and you can hear it playing in the movie's official trailer on the website. pretty catch stuff. The b-side is going to be Message, the digitally distributed christmas single she released last december, available for one month only.

I love Yuki's speaking voice. It's so comforting.
The new song is alright, has some cute quirks to it. It's a little too similar to some of her other stuff though. I miss JAM.

kisha ni notte and rendezvous were both really strong singles, so I guess getting 3/3 is a bit too much to ask for. wonderline wasn't my cup of tea, although I do enjoy it, I'm just not crazy for it. this new single is getting the bs treatment, a limited cd/dvd single with the PV on the dvd and the b-side the earlier digital only christmas single from last year, Message. She has been pumping out singles for a while, this is her 5th single since Wave (Cosmic Box, Rendezvous, Kisha ni Notte, Wonderline, Hoshikuzu Sunset), with another two digital only singles (Biscuit and Message). Coupled with the bsides for Rendezvous and Kisha ni Notte (Miss Yesterday and Just Life, Alright) we have 9 original tracks, out of which they will probably use half and then another 4 or 5 for an original album sometime soon. it has been quite a while since WAVE (which was released on the same day as Just Can't Help It! dvd, I remember buying both at midnight the day before in Shinjuku...)
