Well, you can't really make jokes about the other albums. Kyouiku mayybe, but you really have to be clever to make it work.

chapter 1 covers 1997-2000 time line = 5.5manga volumes
chapter 2 covers 2014-2015 = 9.5 manga volumes chapter 3 covers 2017 = 9 manga volumes therefore if same level of editing to original they did in chapter 1 chapter 2 and 3 need about 4 hours |

In that case, I think I'll wait for all 3 parts to come out first and then happily grasp a pop corn to join the torturous 10 hours of movie marathon. That way can help me save a lot of money on the ticket and bus trip .
The last time I've joined movie marathon was LOTR - the sincerest form of tolerance test. I sat hypocritically til the end with both of my eyes closed

I know this is kinda vague... But I seem to recall someone posting a link for a recent japanese movie in this thread, and I just can't remember the name. I tried looking, but it's too many pages, argh. It had a very cool site as well, and the trailer looked pretty good (I think I left a comment about it). I remember it had a "dark tone", but sophisticated... Kinda.
I really can't be more specific... If anyone remembers, please tell me. If not... well, too bad D: Thanks! |

Don't know, from what the trailer showed, it looked like you couldn't put it into a specific genre. Like I said, it had a dark tone, possibly some violence, but also some kind of drama, iirc it was present-day and "realistic" (no heavy FX), the trailer looked sophisticated and I seem to remember text in red with a black background.
Meh, but I may be completely wrong, because my memory tends to fail me. What I absolutely sure was that it really impressed me but at the time it wasn't yet released, so I "ignored". But now I wanna check if it was already released. And to add to the problem, I posted in this thread because it's the movies thread, but there's the possibility it was posted in the Random Thread or Currently Watching. Anyway, I'm going to search for recent japanese movies on IMDb, and hopefully I'll find it D: |
