I went to the mora.jp store to see if the album was up, and got excited when I saw it listed for 2057 yen. Then I realized that was for a 320kbps download. The FLAC one is exactly twice the price at 4114 yen.

I don't see Heisei Fuzoku listed there yet.

Judging by the file size it's a FLAC rip of the CD. I wonder if the 24/96 will show up.

That's outrageous. That's basically what I paid for my physical copy from Amazon.

I guess I'll hold out for a better FLAC rip if the quality on JPS isn't that great.

FLAC is lossless though... meaning it sounds exactly how the cd sounds...

Already listening to it. Sounds fine through my headphones; not too loud.

Track 11: Shiina get that GOD awful pitch effect off your voice. It's offensive and unnecessary when you actually have a good voice.

That's the only song on this album I would take off. Highly enjoyed the rest of it.

God I find it derpy when someone prefers Jiyuu over NIPPON or vice versa.

Both are the same fucking song.

Hi Izuru Tokoro is a strange case - normally I would be lukewarm with almost half of the tracklist in isolation and I'm also getting real fucking tired of all these key changes late in her songs... but as an album it's actually a pretty fun time. Reminds me of my first full listen of Adult.

Words cannot describe how much I love JL005便で though. You could probably get me to immediately drop $40 blind on a Shiina Ringo album if I had just that song to pass judgment with.

They should have just taken the Tou Taikai etc. version and polished that if they weren't satisfied with the original instead of taking the electronic modifications too far.

Pretty sure it is the Tou Takai version... I say this because people are complaining that it's not the SWITCH version (the heavily autotuned version we heard before the single version came out) elsewhere, that and it's got the whole Saito Neko string section at the end that only came along when Tou Takai came out...

That, or its some kind of hybrid between SWITCH and Tou Takai versions, much like the hybrid of Yokushitsu/la salle de bain on HF.

Do you mean the autotune? I think it suits the electronic sound.

I don't love it but it doesn't offend me as much as the Nakata song does.

Oh and Inseu isn't wrong about the CD master being loud/brickwalled to shit.

Like he said, the shitty stream was more gentle on the ears :-p
